Ali Mailloux, Westfield High School (WHS)

“Ali is a great listener and was excellent at helping me take lesson/unit ideas and turn them into innovative, student-centered lessons. She was instrumental for me in the process of developing PBL lessons that engaged students! Ali was outstanding to work with as she met me where I was, listened to what my goals were and then worked alongside me to help me reach the vision I had for each lesson! She loves helping teachers and it showed throughout our time working together!”

MEET YOUR COACH:

I graduated from Butler University in 2016 with degrees in Middle/Secondary Education and History. I have a total of six years experience teaching high school. My first three years I taught World History at Pike High School before accepting a job at Westfield High School in 2019 to teach U.S. History and AP Psychology. I earned a Master’s Degree in Effective Teaching and Leadership from Butler University in 2021. This past year I had the opportunity to step into the role of part-time curriculum coordinator. I am excited to transition into a full-time instructional coach for the high school starting the 2022-2023 school year.

WHY I LOVE COACHING:

Our teachers go above and beyond to support the success of our students every day. I am excited to be able to support them as they learn and grow professionally.
