What is Conflict vs Bullying and our definition of bullying?
There are three parts:
Repeated (over and over)
On purpose
Imbalance of power (you can’t stop it even though you’ve tried)

Someone having a bad day and calling you a mean name. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it was on purpose. What could you do? (Conflict- Kelso’s Choices)
Someone pushed me when we were lining up. It hasn’t happened before today, but it was on purpose. What could you do? (Conflict- Kelso’s Choices)
Someone is spreading rumors about you. This person tells other kids not to play with you at recess. You’ve talked to the person about it but it hasn’t stopped. What could you do? (Bullying - report it)
Your friend and you argue over which game to play. Your friend says she is going to play with someone else instead. This happened a couple months ago but not since then. What could you do? (Conflict- Kelso’s Choices)
Every time you get on the bus a student bothers you. He takes your book or teases you about your clothes. You’ve tried to move seats and talk to the bus driver but it hasn’t stopped. What could you do? (Bullying - report it)
You see a student who gets picked on every day at lunch. You have tried to encourage the other kids to be nice but they aren’t. You aren’t sure you can solve this yourself. What could you do? (Bullying - report it)
