Student Cafe - Parent Volunteers Needed - Connecting is Key!

WWS 2018-2019 Student Cafe A conversation can make a difference.  You make a difference! Last year, we kicked off Student Cafe at WIS, and the connection between our students and volunteers was outstanding.  Student Cafe is an opportunity for the parents and the community to connect with our students during lunch at WIS.     After last years session, students asked that we host the program again.  Our goal for Student Cafe in  2018-2019 is to continue the community engagement and encourage the connections between our volunteers and students.   Positive relationships lead to conversations that strength our student and community. This year we will host four sessions.   Two sessions will be lead by our parent/community volunteers and two sessions being lead by our Senior Mentors.   This opportunity benefits community engagement and connection.    We need 49 Volunteers on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 and 49 Volunteers on March 6, 2019.      Join us  CLICK HERE TO SIGNUP!

  3. B Lunch = 11:40 - 12:10

  1. 2nd Quarter: 12/12/18- Lunches C & D: Senior Mentors

  2. C Lunch = 12:15 - 12:45

  3. D Lunch = 12:50 - 1:20

  1. 3rd Quarter: 3/6/19- Lunches A & B: Parent Volunteers

  2. C Lunch = 11:05 - 11:35

  3. B Lunch = 12:50 - 1:20Visitor Background Check - A SafeVisitor background check will be required for anyone who visits our schools, including family members of our students. Background checks are good for three years at any school in the district.
